Reg Manning

Reg Manning, Arizona Republic (1905 – 1986) Born in Kansas City, MO, Manning came to live in Phoenix, AZ.  His only art training was in high school. After graduating, he went to work for The Arizona Republic as a photographer and artist.  He was interested in drawing comic strips but the popularity of his editorial work led him to focus on editorial cartoons.  His work was syndicated in as many as 170 newspapers.
